Collaborative Practice

The collaborative process is a way that you can work with your solicitors to reach the best solutions for you and your family when your relationship breaks down without going to Court.

Collaborative lawyers will sign a participation agreement disqualifying them from representing you in Court. This mean that they are committed to helping you reach agreements about your children and your finances minimizing the pain of family breakdown.

Both you and your former partner with the help of your own solicitors will work together as a team to resolve the issues arising on the breakdown of your relationship to achieve the best solutions for you and your family.

Each of you will have your solicitor with you during the process providing support and legal advice. When you have reached an agreement they will help you put it into effect.

Please contact us to make an appointment or to take advantage of our free initial meeting for new clients.
