Stephen Ellis-Jones

Stephen was called to the Bar in 1992 after qualifying as a Lawyer following a 12-year career as a Chartered Civil Engineer. He practised at the Bar for a further 12 years before joining Lightfoots as a Senior Litigation Assistant in 2004.

He undertakes all aspects of Civil Litigation and has appeared regularly in courts of first instance, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. As well as a particular expertise in construction law and negligence claims against construction professionals, he deals with all manner of commercial disputes, property related matters, Landlord and Tenant cases, insurance claims and private client disputes.

Stephen is a member of Middle Temple and TECBAR- the Bar's society of construction lawyers.
