Ian Norman
Partner - Litigation - Consumer Credit
Ian graduated in Law & French at the University of the West of England in 2002. He joined Lightfoots in 2004 completed his training with us and qualified in 2008. Ian is fluent in French and he spent a full year of his education working in a prestigious firm of Notaires in Paris, where he assisted English speaking clients with commercial and residential property transactions throughout France.
Ian now lives and breathes Consumer Credit Law and has assisted a number of the firm’s lender clients grapple with regulatory compliance and also contentious litigation arising out of the Consumer Credit Acts.
Ian has written a number of articles for various publications including Mortgage Strategy and the Credit Services Association and was recently a guest speaker at the Consumer Credit Trade Association Annual Roadshow Event.
